i'll cast lower resistance on him and hurl the azuredge axe. will i get it back?

Part of the special abilities of Azuredge is that when it is thrown, it will return to the hurler. You dont need to lower resistance by attacking from a distance with the axe. It will take you a few extra hits to take him down and you can save your lower resistance for somewhere else more important...(dragon maybe?)
