Playing softball, rounding second, a friend of mine inhaled a moth. Just grossed him out. No harm done. Probably the only reason she vomited was a gag reflex from unexpectedly swallowing something. They definetly are poisonous or anything. Believe me - she's probably swallowed much worse when you weren't looking.

Seriously, it hasn't hurt anything. And the 'dust' on them is actually a part of the moth. If it gets rubbed off, they can't fly. I can't remember what the substance is called, but it allows them to fly and is not like dust from the corners of your house or anything.
