LOL, Mel, I saw an article in Consumer Reports a long time ago that said exactly that- shampoos are basically the same ingredients - at least the ones that cleanse the hair are all same or very similar! All the other stuff in them is fluff or fragrance!
As for makeup, around here it's more like Mel described. Wearing makeup is a personal choice, some do, some don't. And I think it's only an 'issue' if you work someplace like a bank or other professional area. As for me, I do wear a foundation to work most days, sometimes blush and sometimes eyeshadow or lipstick but not much else and often only one or two items at any given time.
I've gone to the grocery store or church or even the mall without makeup on. I just prefer to wear it if I plan to be out and about much. [img]smile.gif[/img] I don't wear it on weekends and am not one of those 'must touch up in mid-day' types'. I do appreciate looking and feeling my best, as most of us do so if it helps to dress or make up, then so be it. I'd never consider a woman shallow just for wearing foundation of lipstick!
