Funny but I keep hearing these silly ideas coming from his opposition, trying to somehow tie their party to this event in a psoitive light and deflect the inquiries as to why they decimated the intelligence agencies for the last 10 years and why they had failed to capture the leader of the terrorists when they had him virtually handed to them.

I guess we all have food for thought
[/QUOTE]Excuse me but isn't Dubya the one pushing this idea before congress?

I think it will give more to the Al-Queada if Sept 11 is named "Patriot's Day" in honor of (quoting Dubya) "those who sacrificed their lives".
Since when did being a victim make people sacrifices? They weren't enlisted (*cough*Cole*cough*).

I wish I could stay home from school that day (pomp on campus as a tribute in rememberance) but I have classes I have to attend that day.
Like Dec 7, 1941, they day should be remembered here, but not marked as some sort of new holiday. There were more countries involved than just America and no shadow should be cast over those who died that day to put America in a more pathetic light, as if we neeed the world's pity. Its sick.

I agree completely with what you said Skywalker.
Its just sad.
