Here an audio interview with Michael Chabon, the author of "The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay" that was broadcast on NPR:

I will be buying it this weekend. It will be hard to not read it until my flight!

I was also looking to read "A Conversation With The Man" by John Ridley, which deals with a black stand-up comic trying to get respect in Las Vegas in the 1960s. Interview here:
