I can't play
Morrowind at present -- my graphics card's not up to it...
But it's not unique to
Morrowind. You can find similar ideas in other games as well, plus books, comics etc.
Diablo 2 for example.
Different characters become different types of gems when cremated, you know. High-level clerics and paladins become diamonds, elves become opals, dwarves become rubies, halflings emeralds, orcs lapis lazuli, and so on. Hold it -- this occurs only in
