First of all - you are giving away a huge ToB-spoiler there. I suggest you set up a spoiler-warning at once.

Now, as for main character, the Cavalier is always fun to play.
Great immunities/abilities/resistances, he becomes very powerful with HLAs, and he can wield the best Two-Handed Sword in the game.

The Sorcerer is also fun. If you already have used a Mage, I think you'll like the Sorcerer. Their spell system is wonderful. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Oh, and lastly, I prefer the Berserker kit over the Barbarian. He has a much better Rage-ability called Enrage, plus that he can be Grand Master in weapons. [img]smile.gif[/img]
