I was in the army cadets about 26 years ago (23rd squadron royal engineers), great fun at the time playing about in armoured cars with the the affiliated TA regiment. It was also the only chance Londoners like myself got to play with guns , although many of my schoolmates carried on playing with guns well into their twenty's ...untill the police caught up with them.
