Yes, i think that's right. With the entry of into the WTO, China faces HUGE competition, just as much as western industries do so too. Chinese Agriculture is under heavy fire from mass produced grains grown in USA and Australia.
Chinese car manufacturers are dying quickly if they don't either reform or co-operate with western manufacturers. However, ultra cheap Chinese wide screen TVs will kill the western market. 32" TVs are found in China at 500 Yuan, that's less than £40!!! I mean who cares about the quality, I'm a student!
