Sorry, but the racism argument is simply not tenable. Two of the extremely "good" characters in the Baldur's Gate series are persons of color: Dynaheir from BG1 and Valygar from BG2. AFAICT, Anomen simply has an olive tan, typical for someone growing up in a semi-tropical climate. (Brynnlaw's not that far south, and it's DEFINITELY tropical, as is Tethyr).

Yes, Yoshimo "betrays" you, but he's hardly to blame; Irenicus captured him and placed a "Geas" on him which forced him to take the actions that he did. By returning his heart to the Temple of Ilmater, you undo the Geas that was placed upon it and free his soul.
Should we consider BG2 to be racist because Black Isle made "elves" the bad guys (Bodhi and Irenicus)?
