Reno can be done at lower levels and get lots of XP, but carefull what boss you work for it makes the otehrs hate you.

I did the caves at lv 5-7 after i had a basic smg using 10mm ammo. I never took fast shot except for 1 time. I felt it better to make aimed shots later to stop things happening, like taking out someones arms to stop guns.

The more items stolen at once, the more xp earned. But if caught you get none.

When near vault city, move round the town to the north of it in all ajacent sqares. This will let you haev a quest finished when you get into vault city.

If not patched, be careful in Gecko a bug causes them to go hostile at random times.

Gamble will make you horribly rich if you invest in it.

if using a non-europe version you can kill all but one mob boss without firing a shot. This is rather rewarding i nthe end.

Bishop has the hardest quests in reno.

You can steal from some shops.

In NCR put on sneak and go to the shelves in the shop at the entrance. Steal from teh shelves using the skill.

If injured, do not be afraid to rest. Very few quests are time restricted.
