Tanoch, it is impossible to watch kids all the time, every day. In march a 14 y/o went missing on the way home from school. She was last sighted half a mile from home. Nothing has been found and there is almost no chance her adbucter will ever be caught.

Two years ago an 8 y/o walked out of a field to go to her grandmothers house where she was staying. She was out of sight of her family for 30 seconds before she was abducted. The abducter even waved to her brother as he drove away with her in the back of his van. Her body was found a month later.

There are other cases but you get my point. No amount of care can prevent one of these vermin from taking a child. There will always be a time when they cannot be protected. And even if it was possible to monitor them 100% of the time, children need to be given a chance to be independent.

This is why we *cannot* afford to let paedophiles get a second chance - or even a first chance if they can be detected in time.

As for the media cirus that surrounds these cases these days - words fail me.

Decimate them, in the original Roman sense.
