I know Hugh, many more lives could have been saved. Fortunately many of our Health & Safety laws are good - I am an elected H&S rep in my building and I have statutory authority to evacuate or close the building if I don't consider it safe to remain (regardless of what managers or individual assholes may say or think) - and in a similar situation I would have closed the building and evacuated the occupants straight away, heck I've done it for things like office temperature being under the legal limit when the heating broke. Is there anything similar in the US? I wouldn't imagine so but correct me if I'm wrong![/QUOTE]I have no idea about how America works in that regard, but your situation sounds very good.
