Without spoiling all the fun, I will tell you in a discreet manner. Of course...in just a lilltle while, somebody else will come in here and spoil all the fun for you, so I don't know why I even bother.
Anyway...the pantaloons will seem like a cheap novelty or unimportant item at the time. YOu may get some XP or a little gold if you get rid of them in BGI, but the secret is to keep them in your inventory, if you plan on buying SoA and ToB. (The next two sequals). You will find other items to go along with those gold pants...that will be able to make someting near the end of the 3rd game. It is a BIG surprise, but an unecassary one.
