I was an avid DnD player when i wasnt a Christian [now I am]. Got really absorbed in it especially in summer. One of those addicted day and nighter kind of guys. It would i say partially influenced my decision to flirt with satanism for a time in my teenage years. But the experience i learned from all that is a valuable asset nowadays in conversations with other folks so no real regrets. If i found the right grp id still play. Someone mentioned old Dragon issue debates on the subject I also remember those and thought opinions were well expressed back then. But as time goes on new generations of folks go through the same things, its just we've been there done that already.
Anything in life that fully addicts you time wize isnt healthy. Doesnt matter if its DnD, alchohol or anything. Be the master of it though and you'll be fine.

Well met, Vorpal. Hope you'll like it here at IronWorks.
I suppose one reason why some Christians put D&D down as satanic is that you find all sorts of supernatural and demonic creatures in D&D, which they (the Christians) fear will exert some sort of dark influence on you,
even if you play a good character. Certainly they can cite the sheer addictive power of the game as evidence of the 'subtle' hold the alleged dark forces are exerting upon you. What do you think?
