SOunds like one of the field coils blew or something. Sound pretty terminal whatever it is. Easiest soloution would be to nick a monitor form one of those other machines you mentioned. And check if it still under warranty.
To get your password - dont forget it if possible - but theres and option on the logon screen for if you forget it, fill in the form and itll be emailed to you in about 20 seconds.
