Consoles will never be able provide the graphic and sound quality a pc can provide.
Sides that, the X-box for instance, is all pc based hardware, just no crappy Operating Systems like Windows.
What I'm trying to say, consoles are programmed once and thats that.
For instance, take NWN, a game that you can never play the same way on a console like on a pc, reason(s) : You cant edit a level on a console, you cant be a Dungeon Master that controls a game for other players on a console.
I'm a bit anti-consoles, but I think you noticed that
