What is our purporse in life? Are we put here for a reason?

Naturally, I say the answer is Yes.

What is our purpose? The "day-to-day" answer would be to live your life in the manner that brings you the most joy/happiness/fulfillment (without causing pain or suffering to others).

The BIG answer, though, is that each of us is put here for a specific purpose. Some day, a situation will come up that ONLY you can take care of.

It may be comforting a friend who is in desparate need, it may be caring for your family, or it may be inventing the next super-chip that brings the global community even closer together (and makes you a multi-zillionaire in the process )

But, just like any movie where a "chosen one" is groomed from childhood to "save his people", you probably won't know exactly WHAT it is you're supposed to do until the time actually comes to do it.

In the meantime, live your life in a joyful manner, drink some beer/ale, and be respectful to those that you meet along the way.
