Gimme a break, a 60's engine in a 50's car?????? You'd split the car apart (Trust me I've tried.) The 50's was about style and cruisin'. My '55 Vette won't hold a candle to my GTO on the strip, but it's a head turner when cruising real slow along the beach. Now for a smoke show, take the 455 in my GTO with dual four barrels drop the clutch in first at about 6000RPM and hang on! It'll grab rubber all the way through till fourth (Of course replacing tires every secong month is getting a little expensive, and we won't even discuss the attention it gets from the local police!)
