The fastest card on the market is the G4 ti4600. Followed rather closely by the ATI Radeon 8500. ATI did some things that made nVidia sit up and take notice. ATI is the reason that the new G4's have dual display support.

Actually the the GF4 4400 and 4200 are faster than the Radeon 8500 is. I'm not just talking clock speeds as with video cards that is kind of relative. Also the GF4 4200 is significantly faster than the GF3 Ti500 is.
