If you don't like anime/animation then you're probably watching the wrong ones
. It's just like saying i don't like hollywood movies imo. Cheapo anime like DB, Pokemon etc (i know i'll offend some people and i'm sorry) are really quite terrible, especially when they have been chopped up and edited. However there have been many classic Anime films out that are really worth checking out; Nausicaa and Akira come to mind, very different, but both are simply spectacular
animation AND story wise. Other worthy contenders are Ninja Scroll, Battle Angel Alita, Spriggan, Evangelion and plenty others i can't think of right now...but yeah...
I saw street fighter the movie ( with Jean claude van damme ), that didn't stop me from ever watching action movies again
