Yeah, well, if he wanted to get totally hammered and drive home on a wet night, that was his problem. I tried to talk him round, but he was having none of it. Now I never drink and drive.
And I did care about him. It just may not sound that way cos I'm pretty much over it, and so is everyone else. No point grieving ALL your life. Just remember the good times, I guess.
