Just to continue on from the old thread, the convo was about accents and bad British ones in games etc. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I thought the Gaelan one in BG2 was hysterical... I mean I laughed and wanted to say "Are you serious?! [img]tongue.gif[/img] "

Epona, Romanian, huh?

I passed for Polish or Hungarian in Russia because they refused to believe they'd actually MEET an American at that time (the 80's) and my Russian accent is good enough that they were sure I was simply from another Eastern block country where I learned it in school or spoke a related languaged (like Polish). I usually enjoyed watching their eyes get big when I'd say "no, I'm an American" LOL We had some great converstations after that! Although a few just sat and stared.. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Hmm.. you know I never really thought about the game voices and accents. I mean some you just cringe at anyway, but it never occured to me how silly and awful they must sound to natives, LOLOLOL! Did you just cringe if they talked or was it bad enough to turn the sound off?! [img]graemlins/laugh3.gif[/img]

I haven't played PST yet, is it better on the voices than BG2 is?
