Once I knew about the demon knight and his powers, I left everbody in the ante-chamber. Then I had my fastest person, with a ring of fire resistance hang out with Ike. Once the demon knight appeared I had my character shake a leg out of there. I managed to survive on the third try.

I never tried to kill the demon knight.
