The only thing that has ever worked for me is exercise. I've tried diets alone and they just don't do it. In the end there's no replacement for getting out and biking/swimming/lifting, or whatever.

When I get lazy and don't exercise, no matter what I do I gain weight, when I exercise at least 4 days a week I can eat pretty much whatever I want and I still lose weight.
