What does God make Algebra teachers out of anyway?!

I had this incompetent wench completely confusing more than half her class all year and when I realized what a hole I was in for staying in it, I transferred out, knowing I was going to flunk but at least wanting to get something out of it before the semester ended so I would be prepared to take the class over during the first summer session (which I am now sitting out).

Since I had been in her class longer, the head of the Math Dept gave her control over my final grade and what does she do?

SHE CALLED ME AT HOME to tell me "I'm just calling you to tell you that you didn't get what you wanted (which was to end up with an IP which wouldn't affect my GPA...how she found out is beyond me, anyway...) she said "you did flunk the class but I bumped your grade up to a "C" so now you have it...you've passed and its counted in with your grade point average (which ended up being 3.47 with her freaking "C", anyway...) she said "Its up to you now if you want to take the class over again in the summer but let me tell you something...the summer classes move twice as fast as the fall and spring semesters and if you didn't learn anything from me (duh!) you're not going to learn anything by trying to get into the class again until next fall." (which would throw my already tight schedule to get my degree off by another year!)

Then she ends her conversation with "You take care because you never know where your path is going to cross mine again!"

Is that creepy or what?

I decided to save myself the hundred plus bucks and tutor myself since I am a little familiar with the textbook already and if I need help getting it before the second summer session, when I go into my next level of Math, Rex's dad said I can call him anytime. He was a Math Major so I know I'll get decent help.

Sorry, you opened the door and I had to step in and rant
