Viconia fled in the confusion, but Lloth turned her brother into a Drider for the sacrilege. She really has had no news of her family since she fled, but assumes the worst, since another House, like DoUrden, would immediately seize on House DeVir's disgrace and wipe it out, moving up in the hierarchy. She does not know who did it, and, anyway, Drizzt was just an infant at the time. Not that that would have mattered. But, still, Viconia hated all of her relatives save Valas, only, and he is dead or worse.
