Well, from when I looked at their website around last election time, I believe that their foreign policy was mainly isolationist and independent. So I doubt there's much room for the UN in their plans.
As for their position on the welfare state - I would have a minimum welfare state that performs a basic role and no more. I'm not sure whether I'd vote for the libertarian party had they a realistic chance of winning in the election, but from a purely idealistic point of view they line up pretty well with my views about size of government.
Of course, in practice it's highly unlikely that the welfare state could be got rid of overnight, so a win for the LP might simply lead to a nice hefty reduction - politics is the game of compromise so I wouldn't worry too much about the more extreme elements of their policies.
