Sooner or later, the US will have to bite the bullet and go into Pakistan's border with force some way or another to deal with Taliban safe havens.

If nothing else, just to show that the US isn't afraid of going into traditional hostile territory.

Otherwise, we'll keep seeing these pinpricks into Afghanistan.

Well hopefully more attention to Afghanistan will be focused soon. Rebuilding is going to take a long time perhaps 10-15 years at least.

I just hope that the warlord issue is resolved soon. Their situation reminds me of China in the 1920's.
