CENTCOM confirms the save, but did not name the POW because the family had not been notified.
Evidently now the family has been contacted.
PFC. Jessica Lynch was considered to be Missing In Action, but has been saved from the Iraqis. She was one of those from the 507th Maintenance Co. from Ft. Bliss TX that was taken last week after taking a wrong turn in the desert.
