The first two M1A1 Abrams tanks were lost to some Russian-made rockets. Some marines have died. The war has *dragged* on for nearly two weeks. Our troops are actually having to fight.
And we call this a failed plan?? What gives? I question the very stupidity of the media for generating a discussion on this non-issue. How overwhelming is enough? The administration never said this would be short. But, let's let the press go whining their asses off - and why? -- because they need new catchy "Bombs on Baghdad" "Attack Iraq" and "Bomb Saddam" style made-for-fools headlines to sell. Yes, Saddam was bright enough to develop new tactics in the 12 years he was given. Let's give him a big fat cookie when we find him for his efforts. Yes, he has caused the deaths of some Americans. But, I simply think talking about a "derailed" war effort is a silly unfounded conclusion.
