What's really odd is that there doesn't seem to be much coming out from China and Russia on the NK issue.

You would think the Chinese govt have a huge stake in what happens to NK.
They just seem awfully quiet.

If NK wants economic aid, why are they pestering the US for it? Shouldn't they be asking the Russians or China for food assistance?

The NK armies wouldn't get very far. I think US air assets would pretty much destroy anything that moves from the DMZ line.

A B-52, despite its age, is still very good a destroying a mechanized force.
