It is also arguable that the man you are talking about was one of the least effective leaders of his time. He accomplished less than any president in the second half of the 20th century. Hell, no - he is a professional politician, which neither of us are. You have often supported the stance that professionals know better than common people, why not this one professional guy ?
Your personal opinion about M. Carter contradicts that of the Nobel committee - they awarded him the Nobel prize for "decades of untiring effort to find peaceful solutions to international conflicts, to advance democracy and human rights, and to promote economic and social development". Is that a small accomplishment ?
Are you saying that the Nobel institution is wrong ?
