Sure, these protests arn't going to make a lick of difference. But for alot of those taking part it probably wasn't even about preventing the war. It would seem that for some it was more a matter of breaking out of the confines of their day-to-day lives and doing something fun and rebellious. I sure as hell know I'd rather be dead than stuck in a house all day, doing whatever my spouse thinks is 'socially appropriate'. It's pretty much common sense that you can't stop a war if it has high financial or strategic profitability, these ladies were just having a little fun. And to hell with over-constrictive husbands that preach shame for the organic form.
And as an aside, if it wern't for the fact that I'd get arrested and thrown in a prison cell I'd be walking around naked every hot summer day. Of course these ladies were doing it in the middle of winter, which demonstrates a copious amount of hard-core on their part! Kudos to naked ladies!
