I'm familiar with the history involved with the Spanish-American war, but this doesn't say anything about the US self-destructing the Maine to "give cause" to join the Spanish-American war, which was the point you made. This link doesn't even mention the Maine, so how does it support your accusation?

There are in english, french, spanish and german.

I'm at work, so I haven't had time to view them all, and I won't be able to tell anything about the sites that aren't in English, but I'm looking forward to your "1969 Cuba Battle Plans". I just hope they're more reliable than the link to the story about the guy who's writing "The Big Lie". He's what's known as a conspiracy theorist. [img]smile.gif[/img]
