I collect alot of magic resitant stuffs for my fighter, and use both Drizzt swords (scimitar +5) for duel weild (mostly when i solo throughout the game). it makes it so much easier on dragons. and when i used improve haste (from one of my equipment) the demons can't even get one miss before they died. the magic resistant helps so much in dealing with Giant one eye pests, and the Ithilyds (or whatever they call themselves). i almost never use the mage, or need one for a companion, it's tedious works learning how to work those spells and acquire them, the casting time, the chances of failure, and the creature's magic resistant are a pain to deal with. *sigh* i'm just a dumb brute who love simple pratice of smithing down buffy creatures with powerful tools. One advantage is i never run in with the wizard for practicing "illegal use of magic", even if i do, they don't even have a chance to cast a spell before i smack the hell out of them.
