NK has done more than that. And those that were kidnaped from Japan were not all academics. Most were people who happened to be strolling on the beach at the wrong time.

I seem to recall at least two naval engagements between the NKs and the Sks ove the last two or three years. I also remember two US Army officers being hacked to death by NK soldiers back in the early eighties, while they were inspecting the DMZ. Something that under the Armistance was aloowed to happen. I also recall several LARGE tunnels beginning found in SK, that the NK had dug under the DMZ. Those tunnels were large enough to move Tanks, Artillary, large Trucks and vast bodies of troops through. Now why on earth would those tunnels have been constructed, unless there was a plan to use them in a sneak attack against South Korea? The NKs are far from innocent in any of this.
