I think he's just rehashing a bunch of old issues. He hasnt said anything that Osama hasnt already mentioned. They seem to be taking a united stand on this one.
It doesnt stop being scary though. Its all well and fine to say he's bluffing but one cannot be sure he doesnt have a hidden Ace up his sleeve. The very threat conjurs up images of nuclear and chemical destruction and it scares the daylights out of me.. a single nuclear weapon detonated on American soil will be the greatest tragedy of the new millenium. The last thing we want now is Washington turning into a radioactive fallout crater.
We can always say that "terrorists cant control our lives, we wont live in fear", but how can anyone remain unafraid in the face of the threats the entire world faces? How long can we lie to ourselves that terrorists can do all they want but they'll never change or affect us? Sept 11th demonstrated that we are all at risk, no matter where we live.
Islamics have also predicted the downfall of America and the triumph of Islam over all other religions. Call me a bigot, but I for one would rather die than bow to a towel-headed God.
