It's the anniversary of the dedication of the Statue of Liberty!


This year we celebrate 115 years of Lady Liberty!

“Frederic Auguste Bartholdi’s famous sculpture, the stature of ‘Liberty Enlightening the World’, was dedicated on Bedloe’s Island in New York Harbor with the following sonnet by Emma Lazarus:

“Give me your tired, your poor,
your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”
