Jahiera has those lovely fire elementals, and is a fairly good fighter, and a nice spellcaster as well.
EDIT] I do find her annoying, when it gets really bad, save the game...
Then stand there and throw things at her (you know, minute meteors, knives, fireballs, chairs, tables... whatever you can find (and lift)) Then, when she dies, just re-load, She wont remember a thing!
