Michael Jackson is worth several hundred million dollars and may well be worth over 1 billion. This hasn't come anywhere close to ruining him financially. While it probably HAS affected the record sales he can expect in America, he is still a HUGE draw in the European countries. Any accounts of him being "ruined" by this is nothing more than a professional "sob story" circulated by his press agents.
