Well, not to be crass, but I'd take the $1 million, disappear onto a year-long cruise, and get a couple of 20 yr old girlfriends to replace the wife who'd ruined my last 10-15 years of life.
And, in this case, the wife will be there waiting and drooling when he gets back.
