For those of you with broadband, this is a wonderful little 13 minute documentary by an Iraqi about the upcoming elections. The humour is nice and dry (if a little forced sometimes), it's a great window into the daily lives of the average Iraqi, what issues matter in the election, what the main parties are, their rather mercenary use of 'men in turbans' to get religious authenticity etc. Well worth a watch!

Click here for a 256kb/s version, or go to http://news.bbc.co.uk, fire up the player and you'll find it under the 'World' section down the bottom in 'special coverage' if you haven't got that much bandwidth - you can then choose a lighter version.

One thing you thought the American's would have done a bit differently though: there will be no party names on the lists - instead you have to choose from the party logo!
