Well actually, there's a good chance that the chair you're sitting on is actually making sound too. Sound is produced when pressure-differences occur, and as any solid material consist of -more or less fixed positioned- vibrating molecules, sound is made.
The energy of the sound is much too low for any being to hear, but who knows .. maybe your chair is doing a little Mozart right now
