I'd like to note that the grand total of armed forces in Estonia is actually 40 000, as I recall.
In my opinion, it is pretty obvious that my country's measly contribution of 55 troops is an oppritunist attempt to get support from the US if any sort of war breaks loose here(an invasion by Russia is particularly feared). [img]tongue.gif[/img]
It is also a matter of principle - the soldiers who did go to Iraq are practically war heroes here(get that image of a fat moustached guy with ragged clothes shouting on a pier "Boris saved Iraq; Boris saved Moother Estoonia!" under a clouded sky out of your mind - It's not like that [img]tongue.gif[/img] ).
