What do you have exactly?
1. An .EXE file? It is an "self exploding" zip file. You have to copy it in your "override" directory, run it (from that directory) and remove it. After running the .EXE, you will see new .2DA files in your "override" directory.
2. The XPCAP.2DA file? This is only one of the remover files. It does not suffice. Well, it allows you to continue gaining XP but you will gain only automatic, i.e., not table driven, benefits during leveling up. The file must be in your "override" directory.
3. A set of .2DA files? All these files must be in your "override" directory.
Notes:
a) Shortly put, you must have .2DA files and these files must be in the "override" directory.
b) Archive the contents of your "override" directory before installing the remover. This allows you a simple uninstalling: delete the contents of the "override" directory and unpack back your archive.
c) If you have .2DA files in the "override" directory, the remover should work.
