I would like to think this attitude isn't as pervasive as it is made to sound - and I'm willing to give the "working class" citizens you mentioned the benefit of the doubt.

So I tell you what, when you get back to the Big Apple, go around and ask any citizens you choose what they think of "Red America" and the voters there and tell us what they say. Then we will see if they have the same "elitist attitude" or not.
