Yeah, I care. You have to experience the horrors of war to truly know it. And we ARE in a war time.
Just like I respect meat-eaters more if they have ever slaughtered their own meat. Taking a life is a very personal and moving thing, and IMO it is important to have done it if you are going to pretend to speak with authority on it.
