I was homeschooled for a year, and it was a blast! I found it much better, and I learned much easier than any other school year before or after. I could work at my own pace to get through things, and focus on certain things more if I had trouble with it. I see no downsides to it, since the people I had it through (they sent us books n' stuff) required that we had to have a music lesson of some sort, and some sort of organised physical activity, probably so we could socialize. I only actually did stuff for about 4 months too, so my school year was really short!
