I am currently trying to define for myself what it is that pisses me off so much about Islamic Fundamentalism, and I am researching fundamentalism because I think the problems are not Islamic in nature. Therefore, I am researching fundamentalism hoping to find the source of my problems with my nation's current nemisis. Because I like to think that general rules govern human behavior, I am assuming that the problem is not specific to Islamic Fundamentalism but rather derives from either Islam or Fundamentalism.
Additionally, this is a topic I approached from the social studies point of view, and it is quickly turning into a religious discussion. I had not intended that, so I should now quit going on about it.

T.L. NO OFFENSE is taken on my part, I am what I am, how can I be offended by that, or how can I be offended by you pointing it out. I'll not rat you out or report this and say you denounced me in some way. Nor will I condone ANYBODY Else on this board doing so. I'll scrap with anybody that tries tot do so, T.L.
I believe general rules do govern Human behavior, Zealots of all stripes can be misguided. I beleive that there are men taking advantage of Human behavior in the I.F. movement, From what I can tell in Christianity the Martyrs get no special treatment, Men have said they do, but I can not find it. Atleast not in the sense of you martyr yourself and you get "X", above and beyond what everybody else gets in paradise. That is playing to the human behavior of selfeshness/greed/look what I got/selfimportance, everybody wishes to be somebody, the problem as I see is they already are they just don't know it.
